The Phoenix Astronomical Society, founded in 1948, encompasses many related interests: telescopes, binoculars, astrophotography, computer planetaria, astronautics, sky lore, astrogeology,  NASA, and celestial navigation are but a few.  We are amateur and professional astronomers, teachers and learners, oldsters and youngsters, men and women ... all with inquiring minds.   We want to know more about the wonders of the night sky.

PAS Events

Our organization sponsors numerous astronomy-related events including monthly lectures, telescope workshops, and star parties.
